Priestess/Oracle Shoot

This shoot would probably include more manipulation than anything else, or have it turn into a stock photo for someone else to purchase and manipulate.

I have a variety of veils; either silk, lurex, or chiffon.  They vary from black, to white and I have a few deep burgundies as well as two bright red ones.  All drape beautifully and can be used for the shoot.

I'd like to have some of the fabric used for a "dress" similar to the sorceress dress from The Scorpion King

I am having a hard time finding a better still shot, i MIGHT delve into cosplay sites and see if anything is there that has a relatively good copy.

There is also a series I've been meaning to take for a friend using a black backdrop and my black veils and having the veils wrapped around my wrists, over my chest and over my pelvis covering the necessary bits but with bright red lipstick and minimal make-up other than that and let her use the photo to manipulate it as she pleases.   

That would be more of a creative commons shoot/licensing and all credit would be given where/when it is due.

A Gothic/Fetish Shoot

Here are my ideas for a Gothic/Fetish shoot

I'd love to do a shoot in a graveyard, I have no problem with spirits or ghosts; they don't bug me I don't bug them; simple logic there.

Corset, umbrella, i have a long red 7 yard circle skirt or a 25 yard black circle skirt that can be bustled, Pleasur heels, fishnet hose (black and white), thigh highs..

I'd also like to do a shoot with my BF, who doesn't have a MI account, but should with some of the shoots he's done.

I'd like to do a "power behind the throne" shot, as well as a few submissive shots as explained below.

I also have a hooded cloak (see profile photos) that i'd like to pose with clothed and nude/implied as it is lush and VERY full. The hood is very generous and can be pulled far forward to shadow the upper half of the face to only show the nose/lips and the rest of the outfit or body.

What I'd Like For My First Shoot

There are SOO many things that I'd love to do, so many ideas floating through my head.

I want to do a photoshoot series through the Morikami Museum with my red umbrella, black corset, long black gaucho pants and black flats. Hair and make up done as well of course. There is a "guide" of sorts that I wrote once called "Lady Of The Garden", a short story based on the places that i'd want to take photos within the museum.

I'd also like to do a beach shoot, in the evening, moving into a more night shoot.

I have some alternative outfits, not much, but some. A corset here, fishnets and stripper heels there... I'd like to do some shots with my BF as well, and he of course might want some additions to his port that he has. I love gothic/fetish shoots, and would really like to do a vampire/seductress set.

I have dance outfits as well, gypsy and layers and fun sparkly bits. One or two pieces can also help translate into a Renaissance shoot, which is another thing i'd LOVE to do.

I have some chiffon and silk veils that i normally use for dance but i'd also like to use for an oracle/priestess set..

Modeling: Didn't Think It Was For Me

There were a few times where friends and family and sometimes even total strangers would observe some of my photos from recitals, or senior photos, and even some photos that my mother had taken and look at me in wonder and go:


"Why don't you model?  You should model!"


Each time I would shake my head and say that it wasn't for me.  Because I though (and sometimes still do) that I don't look good enough for modeling, too heavy, that my teeth are too stained, my skin too pocketed and marred with scars from my OCD/BDD.  Parts of me yell at me for putting this up on a modeling centered blog, saying that I'll never get any jobs or trades this way, but if I'm not honest and up front and REAL... then it could be just as bad, if not worse.  So yes, I am honest and telling everyone that I have scars and flaws in my skin and teeth, and weight if photographers are REALLY that shallow.

The above images are slightly enhanced so that the lighter and deeper scars show and pop, so you can see the extent of my scars.  There is a reason why I stay so pale, its because of these scars I barely tan myself, even though i LOVE the beach and the pool.


If you don't want to work with me, that is fine, i understand that the industry is more worried about the women that can sell and make print sales for the photographer/agency/company versus the petite fuller figured women with scars and blemishes and teeth that aren't pearly white.
